Nakba Day 2021

In 1948 over 750,000 Palestinians were forcibly displaced, exiled or forced to flee their homes, a process of dispossession that continues to this day. This video, produced by Fobzu for Nakba Day 2021, includes descriptions of a very personal experience of the 1948 expulsions from the perspective of author, educator and long-serving Secretary of the Birzeit University Board of Trustees, Samia Nasir Khoury who was a student at Birzeit College at the time, quoting from her book, “Reflections from Palestine: A Journey of Hope”.
